Gangs of Wasseypur opens the 3rd London Indian Film Festival

This picture and video say it all, about this eagerly anticipated film, which has the entire world of Indian cinema talking!

As an aficionado of Tamil cinema, it also marks another Cannes outing for young music director GV Prakash, the nephew of double Grammy and Oscar winner, AR Rahman. His first was Veyil, which was the 1st Tamil film to be screened at the famous festival and this time, he is due on the red carpet with one of India’s coolest directors, Anurag Kashyap, as part of the directorsโ€™ fortnight section at the 65th Cannes anniversary, with the epic revenge saga, Gangs of Wasseypur.

More on it’s UK release at the London Indian Film Festival – it’s UK premiere is on 20th June, at Cineworld Haymarket.
